Lowell police chased a Gastonia man after he ran a redlight. The driver ran through several yards and took out fences as he went.
The car a new Mustang ended up in the back of a house. The driver jumped out and was trying to break into another house when police caught him.
He was charged with a revoked driver’s license and was wanted for a probation violation. Police also charged him with fleeing to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, attempting to break or enter a building and three counts of injury to real property.
