Ranlo Fire and Rescue responded to a vehicle fire on Hwy. 7 and Smyre Drive. On arrivial they found a pickup truck unde a 53 foot refer unit. The fire was out. The driver had hit a car in Lowell and then tried to hide from the police by going behind the trailer, but he ran under the trailer. The driver was taken to jail by Lowell Police.
