MONROE - Jack Ray Moody, 76. died July 3, 2009, at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte.
Mr. Moody was born July 2, 1933, in Bessemer City, son of the late William Earl and Bertha Holder Moody.
He was a retired Monroe City policeman.
Interment will be in Lakeland Memorial Park.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth H. Moody of the home; one son, Terry Michael Moody and wife Melinda of Gastonia; one daughter, Melody Kay Williams and husband Ted of Denver; four grandchildren, Brian Moody and wife Allison of Iron Station, Michael Moody of York, S.C., Cameron McDonald and Cody McDonald of Wilmington; one great-granddaughter, Bailey Moody of Iron Station.
