Fire departments from all over Gaston County were called to the old Cramerton High School Sunday around 12:00 pm to find fire and smoke in the 2nd and 3rd floors of the newest part of the old school.
The main building was seperated by a external stairwell which kept the fire from spredding.
The fire was under control in just a couple of hours.
One fireman was transported to GMH for heat exaustion. The heat was extream.
Thanks to all the ladies and Red Cross for suppling water and snacks to all the firemen and workers as well as the help from the church next door. Without those who support us at fires it would make our jobs harder. Let them know how much they do for us.
